Mural: Tagus Still Life

Artist: Jonatan Carranza“Sojo”

This mural is an artistic composition based on everyday elements, mostly objects that could be found in every house in the Tagus area and Extremadura, in general, in the 20th century, the majority of which we can see in the House of the Roma People interpretive centre.

Some of the objects depicted in the mural are old wooden grain measures, a frying pan with its trivet, a pitcher for storing water, a round pad for transporting these pitchers, a decorative receptacle and plate, a blanket for newborns, and a silo for curing cheese and meat.
