La Charca Grande Mill
This horizontal mill was constructed in the second half of the 19th century and stands just behind the dam of the Charca Grande or the Rivera de laMula Reservoir, as it is also known. The monument consists of a deep mill race which flows into a basin, both made of stone with lime render.
The grinding room remains intact and has been restored at the same time as the press. Another interesting feature is the small channel below the mill through which the water returns to the river. Beside the mill we can appreciate the ruins of a building which was used as a storeroom for grain and flour.
