Mural: Rural Extremaduran Pride
Mural “Extremaduran Rural Pride”
It is a hyper-realistic representation of an Extremaduran Blue rooster, a rare breed in danger of extinction, but highly regarded by Extremaduran poultry farmers because of its rusticity and ability to adapt to our natural environment.
In the mural, the rooster is accompanied by Extremaduran Blue chicks and a fox cub, clearly showing the eternal battle between these species and the protective role of the rooster. In the background, in shades of orange is a typical sunrise over the Sierra de San Pedro.
